About the event

Taking an Eco-System Approach to Social Impact
Transforming Collaboration to Solve Big Problems - Alumni Networking Workshop

About this Event

The Social Impact sector operates on the front lines addressing some of Canada’s most urgent issues. This session will focus on how cross-sectoral collaboration can drive both social impact, and economic growth and success.

Join us for an engaging evening focused on reimagining how we tackle society’s biggest challenges—from the mental health, climate action, economic development, food security, affordable housing, K-12 education, or AI—this is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic eco-system that tackles problems collaboratively, whether for program execution, technology innovation, government relations, awareness-building, funding, or measurement.

The " Taking an Eco-system Approach to Social Impact " workshop will explore a scalable collaborative model, moving beyond traditional CSR and grant-based approaches. Instead of working in silos, we’re putting the problem at the centre, mapping out all potential partners, and defining strategic roles for a holistic, scalable solution.

Why Attend?

Discover how to complement and build on one another’s strengths for greater collective impact, especially when resources are limited. Learn how innovative eco-system partnerships are designed for scale, leveraging technology and integrated strategies. This event will help you expand your network, define clear roles, and develop holistic strategies—whether for government relations, awareness-building, funding, or measurement.

Who Should Attend?

Corporate leaders, government representatives, non-profits, community organizations, educators, technologists, and anyone interested in social innovation and system change. Whether you’re working on mental health, climate action, economic development, food security, homelessness, K-12 education, or AI—this is an opportunity to understand and practice an ecosystem approach to tackling Canada’s most pressing issues.

Let’s Solve Big Problems, Together

Be part of the movement to transform how we address Canada’s most pressing issues. Bring your expertise, collaborate across sectors, and help design solutions that put the problem—and the community—at the centre.
