OAMHP 2025 Symposium - The Human Side of Mental Health Practice

OAMHP’s 2025 symposium invites mental health practitioners from across Ontario to a day designed to support your practice with insight reflection and practical tools.

The day begins with a keynote panel exploring the balance between professional expectations and human realities featuring voices from therapy ethics/law business and education. The sessions feature a unique blend of practical and personal skills with sessions on financial strategies for therapists with Liane Wood finding your flow through play with Kimberley Mullin managing burnout and boundaries with Kristen Drozda and Kate Twigger and effective assessment writing with Sherri Parkins and Kevin Reinhardt. You’ll also hear regulatory updates from CRPO and CPBAO representatives. 

This symposium is for practitioners at any career stage who want community and the practical skills needed to be able to show up in their work as both a clinician and a human in this rapidly changing world.

Join us in Toronto or online from 8AM-4PM. The symposium will be followed by our Annual General Meeting and President's Reception from 4PM-7:30PM.
