LISA FISHMAN is the author of the story collection World Naked Bike Ride (Gaspereau Press), short-listed for the ReLit Award for Short Fiction. Her fiction has appeared in The Fairy Tale Review, The Rupture, Guesthouse, Flash Boulevard, and Jerry Jazz Musician. A nominee for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize and a Pushcart Prize, Fishman has published eight poetry books, including One Big Time; 24 Pages & other poems; Mad World, Mad Kings, Mad Composition (all on Wave Books); The Happiness Experiment; and Dear, Read (both on Ahsahta Press). Her poetry is anthologized in Best American Experimental Poetry, The Arcadia Project: North American Postmodern Pastoral Poetry, The Ecopoetry Anthology, and Fence Books’ Not for Mothers Only. With origins in both Montreal and the Detroit area, Fishman is a dual citizen who divides her time between Wisconsin and Eastern Canada.
STUART ROSS has been working in the small press trenches of Canadian writing for 50 years. He is the author of 13 poetry collections, most recently The Sky Is a Sky in the Sky, from Coach House. But also: Motel of the Opposable Thumbs (Anvil), A Sparrow Came Down Resplendent (Buckrider/Wolsak & Wynn), A Hamburger in a Gallery (Punchy/DC Books), etc. He is winner of the 2023 Trillium Book Award for The Book of Grief and Hamburgers (ECW), the 2018 Harbourfront Festival Prize for his contributions to Canadian Literature, the Canadian Jewish Literary Award for A Sparrow Came Down Resplendent, the ReLit Award for Short fiction for Buying Cigarettes for the Dog, and several other honours. His work has been translated into French, Spanish, Russian, Slovenian, Nynorsk, and Estonian. Stuart runs the Feed Dog Book imprint for surrealist poetry at Anvil Press and the 1366 Books imprint for experimental fiction at Guernica Editions. He lives in Cobourg, Ontario.
