Genevieve “Gigi” Marentette

Genevieve “Gigi” Marentette is one of Canada’s most captivating jazz vocalists — “precise, heart-connected, exciting” (Jane Siberry) with “an electric stage presence and fearless creativity” (Laila Biali). Known for her soulful interpretations and ability to make every song feel new, she has performed across Asia, Europe, and North America with legends including David Clayton-Thomas, Don Thompson, Jane Siberry, and Roy Ayers.

On Halloween night, Gigi returns to The Old Mill for a special edition of not only her acclaimed Songs of ’69 concert — inspired by the music and social revolution of 1969 — but also beloved Bob Dylan classics.
