Fused Glass: Spring Scene Plate Workshop

Welcome spring with a splash of color and creativity! Join artist Millean Kung as you design and create your very own 6” x 6” fused glass plate—made entirely of glass. You’ll explore different types of glass, learn how to use specialized tools, and discover techniques along the way. All material and tools are included in this course. Beginners are welcome.

Please note: The glass creations will be fused off-site and be available for pick up in 3 to 4 weeks following the class.

Saturday, March 14 from 1 to 3 p.m.

About Millean Kung

Born and raised in Toronto, Millean discovered Pottery and Glass Art more than 10 years ago. Currently, she is a member of the of the Potter’s Studios in Scarborough and is involved in the Small Business Arts Mentorship Program at Glasstronomy Studios in Markham. Since retiring from education, Millean has devoted her time to her Pottery and Glass Art. She is the sole proprietor of her business, “1 in a Millean”, and participates in a number of Arts and Crafts Shows.

Millean also loves to garden and is a member and a volunteer at the Toronto Botanical Garden. To keep her schedule busy she enjoys cooking and baking.
