From Laya to Loom is an intimate evening of Indian classical music, unfolding on September 11 in a close, listening-centered space, with sounds provided by Third Space Music.
Rooted in the ancient traditions of raga and tala, this gathering invites you to slow down and witness music as a living, breathing form, woven in real time between artist and audience. "Laya" (rhythm) is our guide, and through it, we journey toward the subtle textures, or "loom," of sound and silence.
Whether you're a longtime listener or simply curious, this is a chance to experience Indian classical music as it was traditionally shared: up close, heartfelt, and unhurried.
