Free Geek Toronto Fundraiser – 15th Anniversary Celebration
“Retro Rewind: 15 Years of Tech Revival”
PWYC SCREENING!
Power up your nostalgia and celebrate 15 years of Free Geek Toronto's tech-saving mission at Retro Rewind, our inaugural fundraising event!
We’re screening the beloved Pixar classic WALL-E—a story about a small robot with a big heart who salvages the past to build a better future. Much like WALL-E, Free Geek Toronto gives forgotten technology a second life and helps build a more sustainable and connected world.
Free Geek Toronto will be taking PWYC donations at the door and accepting online donations via this ticket page!
All proceeds will support Free Geek Toronto’s mission to:
Provide affordable, refurbished computers to those who need them
Offer green, ethical solutions for unwanted electronics
Empower community members through digital literacy and access
About Free Geek Toronto
Like WALL-E, we believe what’s old isn’t obsolete—it’s just waiting for its next chapter. Free Geek Toronto is a not-for-profit that’s been diverting e-waste from landfills and putting it into the hands of people who need it most for the past 15 years. From affordable tech and recycling programs to digital inclusion workshops and work placements, we’re building a future where everyone has access to the tools they need to thrive.
Let’s rewind time, celebrate a milestone, and raise funds for a future where tech works for everyone. Because even in a world full of broken gadgets, there's still hope—and maybe a little love—waiting to be found.
Reserve your spot, bring your friends, and join us on September 17!
Please note that since this event is free/PWYC, it is our policy to overbook to ensure capacity. We will begin releasing unclaimed seats to the rush line 10 minutes before the start of the event. In case of a full house, your reservation may not guarantee admission. Please note that only 2 tickets can be reserved per order. We recommend you arrive early!
