WORKSHOP INFO:
In this workshop, MK will guide you in how to turn an old t-shirt design into a patch for a jacket, crew, or sweater. Participants will learn how to use iron-on heat bond adhesive as well as machine and hand-sewing to attach the new patches

About the Instructor: MK Warren
MK is an interdisciplinary artist, gardener, and coordinator, and activist. Her creative work largely revolves around the use of fibre arts, botanicals, found objects and other mixed-media assemblage to create 3-dimensional artworks, decor, and crafts. She has planned and facilitated workshops for all ages with the City of Toronto, East End Arts, Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood Services, Saje Natural Wellness, and others.
She has a Bachelors of Design in Fibre and Material Arts from OCAD University, and certificates in Horticulture, and Arts Education and Community Engagement from Humber and Centennial colleges. Give her a follow @mkmakesthings
