Thursday, August 21, 2025 - An Evening with the Carters at Montgomery's Inn
Montgomery's Inn Museum is hosting a special evening on August 21st with Linda V. Carter - Actress, Media Personality, and Producer - and her brother Evan Carter, a comedian and storyteller. Proud Etobians, Linda and Evan will share personal and family stories that illuminate important Black history in Canada as well as the rich histories of Etobicoke from around the 1950s, 1960s and beyond. This talk will feature historical photography from Linda's personal collections, and snippets from her documentaries "the Making of a Judge", and the "Fashion Griot".
Through their unique perspectives, discover how personal narratives intertwine with the broader heritage of our diverse communities in this heartfelt and inspiring talk.
