About this Event

This year, AfroPulse proudly presents Our Husband Has Gone Mad Again by Ola Rotimi — a bold and satirical stage play that explores politics, power, gender dynamics, and postcolonial society through humor and sharp social commentary.

Set in Nigeria during a pivotal political moment, the play follows Major Rahman Taslim Lejoka-Brown, a former military officer turned politician, whose chaotic personal and political ambitions collide in unexpected and hilarious ways. Through wit and satire, Rotimi delivers a powerful reflection on leadership, patriarchy, and ambition.

This Spring 2026 production brings together talented student performers and creatives for an unforgettable evening of theatre that highlights the richness and complexity of African dramatic tradition.
