Good Bugs: The Dirt Book Storytime

Join us as we read The Dirt Book: Poems About Animals That Live Beneath Our Feet by David L. Harrison on July 25 at 3 p.m. at the Kansas Children's Discovery Center. Little bookworms will love this engaging read-aloud session featuring a fun children’s book all about the animals and bugs! As they listen, they’ll learn how bugs help keep soil healthy and why they are so important to nature! This activity is part of Good Bugs with our friends from Green Pest Solutions.

Regular admission applies, which is $9 for children and adults, $8 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
