Divine Service - August 10, 2025

“Do not worry.” Easier said than done. When struggles, problems, or uncertainties confront us, when it feels like you have no control, worry is the knee jerk reaction of our sinful human nature.
We pray that the Lord gives us an undivided attention on the heavenly treasures he has given us through our Savior, Jesus Christ. When we focus on all the blessings we already have through our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross - forgiveness, peace with God, his righteousness credited to us, citizenship in his kingdom, eternal life, and so much more, he strengthens our faith to trust that he is in control and that he will take care of our struggles, problems, and uncertainties.
Continue to seek his kingdom, which he has already given to you and rejoice that your Heavenly Father knows what you need, values you as his redeemed children, and provides you with all you need for this life and for eternity!
