Carnival Super Saturday Special - Steam train trip to Drayton departing Toowoomba at 2:30pm.

After the grand parade in Toowoomba city, you will experience the magic of yesteryear with DownsSteam's historic steam train trip between Toowoomba Station and DownsSteam Railway Museum!

Step aboard our meticulously restored heritage passenger train and journey through Toowoomba along a rail line steeped in history. Hear the rhythmic beat of Toowoomba’s own steam engine as it pulls you along the tracks, offering a nostalgic glimpse into a bygone era. With comfortable seating and panoramic windows, you'll enjoy views of the Darling Downs countryside. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a railway aficionado, or simply seeking a unique adventure, our Carnival Special to DownsSteam's Drayton precinct steam train trip promises an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Ticket also includes entry to the DownsSteam Station and there will be free tours at the Drayton station. Our visitor souvenir shop and cafe will be open and a sausage sizzle will be operating.

The total experience will last approximately 120 minutes.

Tickets are $40 Adults, $20 Child under 16, $100 Family (2 adults and 2 children). Children under 2 not requiring a seat are free.
