CORPUS CHRISTI: 40hr Prayer Vigil

The Feast of Corpus Christi is liturgically celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday or, "where the Solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ is not a holy day of obligation, it is assigned to the Sunday after the Most Holy Trinity as its proper day”.

In honour of this feast day, there will be a 40hr Prayer Vigil with Eucharistic Adoration commencing Friday afternoon and concluding on Sunday at 7am. Please note that weekend Masses are included in the 40hrs as they are Eucharistic celebrations.
Please use the link posted on the event discussion page to register for a shift/s. There will also be a physical copy located in the foyer at Holy Name.

IMPORTANT T&C’s ⚠️
• Each shift must cover a minimum of 1hr
• At least 2 people must be present at all times and cannot leave until the following shift’s volunteers have arrived
• If you can no longer cover your shift/s a replacement MUST be found (unless there will still be at least 2 people present) and changed on the form above
• Anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent/guardian present with them for their time of prayer
