About the event

Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War
Everyone is invited to the Tonganoxie Community Historical Society FREE 4th Tuesday Meeting.

May Topic: Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War

The TCHS will welcome our speaker Murl Riedel, retired major in the Kansas Army National Guard, who will focus on stories of Kansans who served in Vietnam. The program will tie in with oral history interviews that some TCHS board members conducted with Tonganoxie area Vietnam veterans.

The meeting begins at 7 with a very brief business meeting followed by the historical program.

Our new exhibit, Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War: The Tonganoxie Edition, will open on Memorial Day from 8:00am until noon. Tuesday, May 27 from 9am to 4pm and again at 6pm until after the program. It will then be open at regular hours.
