Coming off three standout appearances on Live Nation’s Ones To Watch #nowwatching playlist on April 7, 2025 (“All White M1”), May 16, 2025 (“Rain”), and June 20, 2025 (“I’ll Be Fine”), Chavar Dontae will perform songs from his new EP, Too Much, showcasing his genre-blending alt pop rock style. With “Keep My Cool” hitting #4 on the Austrian iTunes Alternative Chart, “On My Way (Acoustic)” reaching #13 on the Brazilian iTunes Alternative Chart, and “Don’t Leave” charting on the Brazilian iTunes Alternative Chart, Chavar is gaining serious global traction. Amazing Radio is amplifying his rise, spinning all tracks from the Too Much EP—“Rain,” “All White M1,” “I’ll Be Fine,” “Too Much,” and “The Remedy”—placing him alongside indie giants like The 1975 on this influential platform.
Joining the lineup are Chavar’s friends, The KB, an alternative pop duo of twin brothers Kyle and Kane Benner. Described as “pop music for depressed people” and likened to “Daft Punk and Hall & Oates,” their infectious melodies and quirky charm will light up the stage. Also joining is 22-year-old Lauren Blackford from Milan, MI, whose emotion-driven pop ballads and alternative rock melodies draw comparisons to Fiona Apple and Billie Eilish. Following her 2024 self-produced EP and the deluxe release of One Too Many Times in April 2025, Lauren’s “Best Vocalist” title at Illinois’s Bitter Jester Music Festival cements her rising star status. Kicking off the concert from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2025, are talented Toledo music students, setting the stage for an unforgettable showcase of rising talent.
