We have brought back our A night of Jazz sessions on Friday Nights. This Friday we are featuring Straight Up - A Jazz Trio.
On Friday, October 3rd, we will have live jazz music, featuring Straight Up - A Jazz Trio, from 7pm to 10pm, in our back seating area on the upper level. Cocktails can be enjoyed both upstairs and in the speakeasy, and the coffee bar will be open until 10pm. Kitchen will be open until 9pm.
Straight Up is a Toledo based jazz trio who has been performing in and around the Toledo area since 2011. Straight Up plays a wide variety of jazz styles and has been influenced by such noted jazz trios as Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett and Ray Brown to name a few.
Straight Up is made up of three talented musicians that include Kevin Korecki on keyboard, Norm Damschroder on bass, and Will Kinsey on drums. These three love performing together and love bringing good jazz to their audiences wherever they play.
When not working together as a trio, Kevin, Norm, and Will can be seen around town performing with pit orchestras, the Toledo Symphony Jazz ensembles, solo gigs, and church praise bands.
