J.S. Bach Magnificat

Accogliendo musicisti da tutto il mondo, questa serata vibrante presenta collaborazioni tra i docenti del festival e l’organista residente del Duomo di Orvieto in opere cameristiche di Burkhart, Bach e Saint-Saëns.

Il momento culminante della serata è il Magnificat in Re maggiore, BWV 243, di J.S. Bach—una travolgente esecuzione dell’Orchestra del Festival di Orvieto Musica, del Coro del Duomo e del direttore Stefano Benini. Una fanfara trionfale per dare il via alla stagione!

Welcoming musicians from around the globe, this vibrant evening features collaborations between festival faculty and the resident organist of the Duomo di Orvieto in chamber music works by Burkhart, Bach, and Saint-Saëns.

The highlight of the night is J.S. Bach’s Magnificat in D Major, BWV 243—a thrilling performance by the Orvieto Musica Festival Orchestra, the Duomo Choir, and conductor Stefano Benini. A triumphant fanfare to launch the season!
