Dinner with our Authors

Come and join us for a delicious three course dinner at the award-winning Western Isles Hotel in the convivial company of the stars of the Book Festival including Tom Bowser, Sonia Purnell, Kapka Kassabova, Charles Clover and Carina Contini. Enjoy the opportunity to mingle and chat with the authors, organisers and fellow guests in the beautiful conservatory overlooking Tobermory Bay (voted Romantic Restaurant of the Year in 2024). The hotel’s team of highly skilled chefs have carefully crafted a range of menus, showcasing the best in Scottish cuisine using the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients. They take pride in working with a network of local suppliers, allowing them to provide a farm-to-table experience for you.

Tables will be hosted by the authors appearing at the Festival so you’ll have the chance to ask all the questions you only thought of after the event.

Vegetarian options will be available. Please advise other dietary requirements when booking.
