Friends, I want to share an important update about our upcoming Johnson for Sheriff Campaign Fundraiser on Saturday, September 6th.
After planning and promoting this event, we recently learned of new NC ALE regulations that no longer allow bingo games to be used for political campaign fundraisers. While this was unexpected, we are moving full speed ahead with what is still going to be an amazing night for our community and our campaign! 🙌
Here’s what you can expect on September 6th:
🍽 A delicious meal
🖊 Silent Auction featuring incredible donated items
🎤 Live Auction with some must-have prizes
🎁 Drawings and giveaways for several awesome prizes generously donated by individuals
This event is all about coming together, showing support, and continuing to build momentum for the future of Surry County. 💙
We can’t thank everyone enough for the hard work and generosity that’s gone into planning this evening — from our committee members to the local individuals and business owners who have stepped up to donate.
We’re looking forward to seeing you there for a night of food, fun, and fellowship as we keep pushing toward a safer, stronger Surry County.
