Woods in Conversation

Following our AGM on Friday, we have a second day where we can get our boots muddy at our 'Woods in Conversation' day!

This hands-on session invites you into the woods to see resilience and sustainable timber management in action.

We’re delighted to be joined by Jim Waterson and Chris Keeler, tutors on our AIM accredited Woodland Management courses, who will lead an informative walk and talk through the woodland. They’ll share their insights on how Old Leys Wood is being managed to balance timber production with ecological resilience - demonstrating practical techniques and discussing species choice, habitat considerations, and future-proofing woodland in the face of environmental change.
