Grand Canal Canter - Marathon, 20 Miler, Half Marathon & 10K- Spring 2026

A flat Marathon, 20 Miler, Half Marathon or 10k in Devon? Impossible you say!

Well here it is the Grand Canal Canter along the picturesque Grand Western Canal, your choice of Marathon, 20 Miler, Half Marathon and a 10k.

The routes follow the Grand Western Canal and all turn at different locations to return to the finish, the Marathon does the 20 mile and the 10k out and back to make Marathon distance.

There is less than 90ft of ascent in the Half Marathon, less than 180ft of ascent in the Marathon and 20 miler and less then 90ft in the 10k making it a flat course along hard packed gravel canal paths.

Bespoke "Grand Canal Canter" medal for all finishers.
