The next flamenco retreat is 12th-14th September in beautiful rural Devon. Option to stay extra night leave Monday 15th
It’s a small event, limited to 25 max dancers, with emphasis on learning good technique and choreography, in a fun and inspiring environment. Suitable for those with and without experience, all welcome! Guitarist and singer present to accompany the classes.
Here’s a bit more about the weekend:
Saturday & Sunday classes:
Intermediate: 4.5 hours of classes per day
beginners 3 hours per day
Classes include bodywork, footwork, turns and choreography
Everyone is welcome to do as much or as little as they feel, classes are mixed level but tailored to suit all, I’m very adept at giving alternative options. Beginners will receive a pre camp video to help them prep if they like.
Friday arrival from 5pm onwards with a get together, music and shared food.
Saturday evening party with wonderful musicians and, weather permitting, outside fire
Optional fancy dress for Saturday night!
Optional Qi Gong warm up class each morning, included in course fee
Classes are held in the village hall. Easy ten min walk or 2 min drive, It’s a lovely space to dance in. Lots of light and aeration.
Videos will be taken of choreo etc so you can continue to practise after the weekend.
Includes delicious homemade meals, all teas coffees herb teas etc and mouth watering cakes!
There’s a tea area set up so you can help yourself whenever you’d like a hot drink, or make a hot water bottle!
The residential is in a beautiful rural part of Devon. you're welcome to use the outdoor pool too.

£175 beginners/ £195 intermediate course including meals etc, plus accommodation.
After 15th July: £195 beginners/£215 intermediate
Accommodation varies: from £60 camping bring own tent, £85 rented tent ready set up with bedding, mattress etc, from £130pp for 2 nights glamping bell tent, or shared caravan, to £300 delux glamping wooden homes.

Ample parking on site.
Non dancing partners/ friends- there is some capacity for others to join, the cost is reduced please enquire.
On site therapists offering massage. Bookable in advance or at weekend.
Saturday trip out to local wild swimming spot in summer, plus small on site outdoor pool.

This is a really special weekend suitable for all levels. The weekend is hosted by Karina. Very friendly community of dancers from all walks of life and with an endless supply of home made cakes tea and coffee in between the delicious food! The camping is an added bonus with a camp fire and musicians coming together and jamming which is just great. In short, flamenco is just one part of what makes these weekends special which is why I’m happy to drive hours from London to get to them!!!

Wonderful weekends. Karina makes everyone welcome and is so adept at teaching all levels. I learn so much to add to my usual dance plus a new choreo! Excellent winter venue, comfy beds and so much space. Food amazing, really fun Saturday night parties!
