COOLOOLA COAST – Every Wednesday evening, the sounds of guitars, keyboards, and warm
Harmonies echo through the Cooloola Coast as music lovers gather for the weekly sing-along hosted by
The Cooloola Coast Music Club.
From 6:30pm to 9:00pm, this welcoming group of music enthusiasts comes together for a relaxed,
community-oriented evening of live music and good cheer. Whether you're a seasoned musician or just
enjoy singing along, the club offers a space where everyone is encouraged to join in.
A live band forms the heart of each session, playing a wide variety of songs from folk and country to rock
and pop. But the spotlight isn’t just for the regulars — visiting musicians are warmly invited to bring their
instruments, hop on stage, and perform solo or with the band.
“It’s about community, connection, and the joy of making music together,” says President Mike
Greenwood.“ You don’t need to be a professional — just bring your voice or your instrument and enjoy
the night”, He said.
The club has steadily grown into a beloved weekly ritual for many locals, providing an outlet for creativity
and camaraderie. Singers, guitarists, keyboard players, and even the occasional harmonica or ukulele
player make each Wednesday night unique.
