After an intense international selection process, with applications from artists across 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, we’re excited to present the finalists of the JAZZx Showcase Stage — four outstanding bands ready to take the stage in Timișoara and compete for the chance 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗔𝗭𝗭𝘅 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀:
𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗔 (PL) – A raw blend of hip-hop and street jazz, honoring iconic producers like J Dilla and Madlib. Their debut album Jazz Report from the Hood is set for release on Astigmatic Records.
𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 (BE) – Contemporary jazz enriched by rare instrumentation and orchestral textures. A cinematic and immersive sound, rooted in innovation and tradition.
𝗡𝗮𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘁 (HU) – Intense modern grooves, free improvisation, and an authentic, youthful spirit. A fearless exploration of contrasts and dynamic expression.
𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗼 (BE) – Laid-back yet intricate fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and drum & bass. Organic grooves and spontaneous energy define their sound.
