Tired of renting??? Here is a free, no-commitment time to talk about what it takes to buy a house. Denise Prothe with Guild Mortgage will introduce the variety of first time home buyer loan options that are available- options that include help with closing costs and/or down payment. If you are thinking you aren't ready YET, but you would like to know what it would take, this is a great chance to learn about the process and get some coaching on how to get ready. Sierra Lauder, real estate agent with KW Coast Life, will talk through the offer and purchase process- what to expect for timelines, how inspections and contingencies work, and what we are seeing in the market lately. Together, we have been hosting these workshops for the past three years and have been so happy to see our attendees secure housing that has changes their lives- creating stability for kids, building wealth, making room for pets without worring about landlord consequences, and even creating a space for hobbies to grow in to side gigs!

Some things to note that might be helpful:
-Families are welcome- we know sometimes it's hard to find a sitter, so please feel free to bring your kiddos along if that's easier.
-If you are interested but not sure if you're ready: come anyway! We have been doing this long enough that we now have been able to get several workshop attendees in to their first homes, and sometimes it takes months (or even years!) before the ducks climb in to their rows.
-If your best friend's mom is an agent and you plan to work with her to buy your cousin's house: fine! Come meet us anyway and learn from Denise and about the programs she has available. We are not high pressure folks. We really believe that homeownership creates a basis for stability for families, and we want more educated home owners, whether they are our clients or not.
