About the event

Maryland Iron Festival

The Maryland Iron Festival is a FREE family friendly event. Bring your whole family to enjoy live music, food trucks, blacksmith demonstrators, craft vendors, children's activities, a live iron pour (Saturday only), and more!

The festival takes place in the village of Catoctin Furnace on Saturday, May 17th, from 10:00AM - 6:00PM & Sunday, May 18th, from 10:00AM - 4:00PM.

Parking is avaible ONLY at the manor area at Cunningham Falls State Park. To get to the festival from the parking area, you can either walk the 0.25 mile trail or use the free handicap accessible shuttle that will run all day.

NOTICE: MD rt. 806 will be closed for the festival from Kellys Store Road to Blacks Mill Road. No vehicles are permitted to pass through the village during festival hours.
