Building Acoustic Panels

Support the local community by helping us make ceiling-mounted acoustic panels!

We're helping to develop an indoor playground next door at 110 Simpson Street, and we need your help! We'll be using power tools to cut acoustic panels, and covering them with acoustically transparent fabric to match the ceiling colour.
We will be using circular saws, a drill press, and sewing machines to complete this project. Basic instruction and safety training will be provided for the tools.
The finished acoustic panels will hang from the 11-foot ceiling. Those who are comfortable on ladders and scaffolding will be able to hang the finished panels in place.

Skill level: Beginner
Ages: 16+
