Workshop for Professionals – Preparing Carers for End of Life & Bereavement

Douch Family Funeral Directors are pleased to host an important workshop with Dorset Carers Partnership Group.

Join us in our Sheila Kendrick Suite at our Ferndown branch for a special workshop tailored for professionals whose roles support unpaid carers. This event aims to upskill professionals in navigating sensitive conversations around bereavement, and increase their professional confidence and skills in supporting carers with pre-planning for when this time comes. A range of key speakers will be present to share expert information and advice around practical/emotional elements of pre-planning, including:

The workshop will include tabletop discussions with experts in the field, a Q&A session, a tour of the funeral facilities, and refreshments. It is open to professionals in health, social care and voluntary organisations supporting unpaid carers in Dorset.
