Morning workshop (suitable for children ages 7-11): 10am - 1pm
Afternoon workshop (suitable for children ages 12+ and parents): 2-5pm
Join us for a fun-filled, high-energy circus workshop led by two passionate and playful performers!
Isa and Jenny are professional circus artists and instructors based at Freebird Studio in Dundee, where they teach aerial arts, pole dance and fitness. When they’re not teaching, they’re busy training, learning new circus skills and performing wherever they can. Together, they do partner acrobatics and love trying new things.
Jenny, originally from Dumfries and Galloway, is excited to return to the region for the first time as a teacher and performer. Isa hails from the Netherlands, where her circus journey began in childhood. This dynamic duo brings skill, experience and a whole lot of joy to every session.
What to expect from the workshop:
Each session will be around 3 hours long, designed to be energetic yet manageable, with a mix of structured training and playful low-energy activities to keep everyone moving safely and joyfully.
Here’s a sample flow:
15 min – Warm-up & introduction
45 min – Aerial silks
10 min – Poi or juggling play
40 min – Acro and inversions
10 min – More play time (juggling, poi, etc.)
45 min – Aerial hoop
10 min – Cool down & stretch
No matter your experience level, this workshop is designed to welcome you in, lift you up (literally!) and celebrate the fun of circus arts.
