Whether you’re a curious beginner, a seasoned yogi looking to refresh the fundamentals, or someone who simply loves exploring movement, this workshop is for you.
Let’s be honest—how often do you get the chance to pause mid-class and really explore a pose? to ask questions and understand the why behind what you are doing.
In this Asana Lab, we’ll slow it down, break it down, and adapt each posture to suit your unique body. You’ll also learn how to use props effectively to support, deepen, or clarify your experience in each shape.
The focus of this workshop is on folding and unfolding the body well—learning how to access the lower body, build stability from the ground up, and create a sense of ease inside foundational shapes. You will start to discover the sacred geometry that codes the whole of your body and how to use.
Postures we’ll explore include:
• Downward Dog
• Forward Folds- seated and standing
Warrior 2
• Upward-Facing Dog (as a supported “unfolding” shape)
• Double Pigeon series
We’ll geek out on how your body works, experiment with variations in a relaxed atmosphere where you are encouraged to ask questions when they arise.
You’ll leave feeling confident, curious, and connected, with a deeper understanding of your body and maybe even a new appreciation for your hips.
