BMRTPA/TURF Group Run - Wilderness Conservation Park - Morris Bridge Entry

Mostly known for its mountain biking trails, this park is also open to runners and hikers. There are several trails within this network that are tied to many other Flatwoods Park sections using the "Main" Trail, and that's what we'll run. It's mostly sand, dirt, and more sand, so trail shoes wouldn't hurt. And throw in some roots for good measure. The good news is that it's mostly shaded. But don't forget to bring bug repellent as the seasonal rains support a habitat for mosquitoes and flies. Tip: Wearing light-colored clothing makes you less attractive to the ones that make you curse out loud 🤬

The goal is to run 3-5 miles out-and-back. We'll incorporate some walking/hiking throughout so we can all stay together and take photos. Don't anticipate any standing water or flooding, so we "should" stay dry. No restrooms/water available at parking lot or on course, so please bring hydration. It'll be humid.
