Join us for a hands-on workshop at Skills Shop North- 57 Hayes rd, Bay 8, Thompson, MB. Where you’ll create your own beaded wristlet from start to finish with our host/instructor Brittany McIvor. In this session, participants will learn how to bead around a 4 mm paracord core using 11/0 miyuki seed beads to create a durable and beautiful wristlet.
Each participant will make a 5" beaded wristlet (built on a 10" strand of paracord) that can be used for keys, bags, or everyday carry. You’ll learn basic beadwork techniques, how to maintain even tension while beading around cord, and tips for creating a clean and sturdy finish.
Whether you're brand new to beadwork or already enjoy working with beads, this workshop is beginner-friendly and a great way to explore a new technique in a supportive, creative space.
