The Audacity of Veuve Clicquot

Step into an afternoon of Champagne, courage, and celebration as we honour the audacity of Barbe-Nicole Clicquot — the widow who transformed Champagne into a global symbol of elegance.

Hosted by sommelier and storyteller Zelda Delgado, and in collaboration with Pickled Poet Wine Bar, this signature luncheon brings together the spirit of Veuve Clicquot with a three-course menu crafted by Pickled Poet Wine Bar. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with a different Veuve Clicquot cuvée — Yellow Label Brut, Rosé, and Rich — offering guests a sensory journey through the House’s bold and enduring style.

Through intimate storytelling woven into the dining experience, Zelda will share the legacy of Barbe-Nicole and the lessons her audacity still offers today. And in true Veuve spirit, one lucky guest will be invited to try their hand at the dramatic art of sabrage — opening a bottle of Champagne with a sabre.

This is more than a lunch. It’s a tribute to courage, refinement, and the women who dare.
