Fields & Forest Ultra-Trail Marathon

The event is a 34-mile ultra-trail marathon that follows a route of roads, tracks, trails, and lanes through the counties of Suffolk and Norfolk. This entry-level event starts and finishes at Bardwell Pavilion. (The Grumpy Goat). The course uses the Icknield way, the Peddars way and the Angles Way as a spine for this event and crosses forest and farmland on public rights of way. The event is open to a maximum of 250 participants who will challenge their fitness over a multi-terrain course. Their welfare will be managed using marshals at water/aid stations, which double as checkpoints/ 1st aid stations to monitor their progress and make sure everyone is counted for.
