Braziliaanse Dansavond! | Brazilian dancing night! 💃 (+ Samba for beginners!)

Put on your best dancing clothes because we’re hosting a dance night at DLC! All levels are welcome! We can practice together and learn from each other.
What’s happening?
Our friends from the dance school next door will transform the café into a Brazilian dance party! There will also be a Samba workshop for beginners. If you’ve never danced Forró before, or if you’d appreciate some extra guidance, get a ticket for the class from 19:30-20:30.
Prefer to jump straight onto the dance floor? Choose a standard ticket and arrive after 20:30. We’ll be dancing Forró, Zouk, and Samba! We’ll keep dancing until 23:00 – and if we still feel like dancing afterward, we can head somewhere else together!
Drinks and tasty snacks (sweet and savoury) will be available at the bar. This event is open to everyone!
Schedule
19:30 – ‘Samba for Beginners’ workshop starts
20:30 – End of the beginners’ workshop
20:30 – 23:00 – Free dancing and fun (Forró, Zouk, and Samba)
23:00 – DLC closes, then we head to another bar or home!

In 2025, we’re hosting not just one but 3 dance evenings! Each evening starts with a beginners’ workshop, followed by open dancing for all levels in Forró, Zouk, and Samba. So come and join us, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced dancer!
