Five Brussels-based musicians return from a tour through Argentina and Chile. With unmatched energy, SONICO breathes new life into tango, a feast of recognition for seasoned ears and a vivid introduction to Latin American music history for new listeners.

About SONICO

SONICO is the only band in the world in the past decade dedicated to reviving the music of Eduardo Rovira on stage.

Featuring Lysandre Donoso on bandoneón, Alejandro Schwarz on guitar, Stephen Meyer on violin, Ivo de Greef on piano, and Ariel Eberstein on double bass, SONICO dives deep into the lesser-known corners of tango history.

Like musical archaeologists, they search for forgotten recordings and hidden archives from the 1950s and beyond, piecing together new interpretations and collaborating with ballet companies and orchestras along the way.

From the Concertgebouw in Bruges to the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul, SONICO leaves audiences with an unforgettable impression, of both Rovira and their own singular sound.
