African Dance Workshop

Our specially invited teacher, Serhani, will give you some basics of African dance.


From Serhani:

I’m Serhani, originally from North Africa, and I’ve been dancing since I was seven years old. For decades, I’ve been sharing the joy of African dance in classes and workshops — because for me, dance is not just movement, it’s a way back to our roots.


I’m bringing a powerful and joyful African dance workshop! Expect energy, rhythm, grounding, and deep connection with the music, with your body, and with each other. No experience needed — just come as you are and feel the beat.


About African Dance
African dance is the source — it’s where rhythm begins. From traditional to Afro-fusion, these movements carry stories, power, and connection to the earth. It’s the foundation of so many music and dance styles around the world. When we dance African, we come home to ourselves and to each other.
