Bill Mellow Memorial Tri Night and Potluck

All are welcome to a special tri night on July 29th to commemorate a dear friend and an inspiration to so many of us, Bill Mellow. We have celebrated Bill’s birthday with a tri night for as long as I can remember. He would be proud to see us gather and carry on the tradition another year. Come swim, bike, and/or run or just hang out and share stories (I know there are lots!). BYOB, a chair, something to share, and a plate and utensil if you remember. Per tradition, I will bring the cake! Speedos are optional but always encouraged :).

We’ll keep it relaxed but aim to start the tri at 6, as usual, with potluck to follow around 7. At some point we’ll likely make our way to the river and send some flowers downstream, following those we’ve cast for other friends we’ve lost in prior years and whose absences we’ll always feel.
