Join us for a thrilling concert featuring the next generation of dance artists: the talented NYC teens of the Young Dancemakers Company, now in its 30th season!

💃 What to Expect:

✨ A one-hour performance of original dances choreographed and performed by an ensemble of NYC public high school students

✨ Powerful pieces exploring personal and social themes, set to original music by professional composers

✨ Live percussion throughout the concert by our renowned Music Director, William Catanzaro

✨ A special performance from the repertory of A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, performed by YDC dancers

✨ A free, interactive audience workshop in on-the-spot dance-making—everyone’s invited to join in!

✨ A chance to meet the artists in a post-show Q&A with the company

About Young Dancemakers Company (YDC):

YDC is a one-of-a-kind, tuition-free summer dance ensemble celebrating NYC’s young voices through original choreography. Each season, selected teens from public high schools across the city come together to explore meaningful themes, train intensively, and present their own work in a free citywide tour reaching over 2,000 audience members annually.
