Returning to self: Yoga, Meditation and Writing Workshop

As Femme identifying people we often go through life second guessing ourselves in everything we do. Not because we were born to live only when given permission but, because of moments in our early lives when we were intentionally discouraged from using our physical voices. This silencing and disconnection from our voice does not allow us to genuinely connect with our desires and dreams for ourselves and the world around us.

We have partnered with trauma informed, holistic spiritual practioner Nordia Bennett to bring you this yoga and meditation workshop where you will be invited to remember a moment in your life when you felt the power of your voice was taken from you and be guided through movement and somatic exercises to returning and reclaiming your power. We will end with a reflective writing workshop .

What to bring:

• Yoga Mat/ Towel- anything comfy for you to move on
• A physical item you feel represents your voice
• Your favorite writing utensils and journal
• Comfy clothing to move in
