(Lion's Head) Thanksgiving Weekend Hike @ Lion's Head Hike 16.5km [intermediate/technical]

This hike is part 2 of a weekend hike event.

Day 1 is posted - Duncan Crevices Caves hike in Ravenna, ON.
Day 2 is in Lion's Head, ON. I encourage hikers to stay in a motel Saturday night as Lion's Head is 3 hrs from Toronto but only 1.5hrs from Ravenna.

Here is what to expect:
-15.5km hike suitable for intermediate-level hikers
- forested paths
- technical and rugged terrain
- sections are mostly rocky
- 45 min lunch break (bring your own lunch) at the beach
- free parking
- elevation 550m
- hike will finish around 5:00pm

What you need to bring:
- a good camera for taking amazing photos... the views are amazing!
- wear hiking shoes/boots
- pack at least 8 cups of water
- lunch and snacks
- Optional: hiking poles

MEETING SPOT:
Lion's Head Lookout Trail parking, Lion's Head, ON.

As of October 15, you DON'T need to pay for parking for reserve online.

MEETING TIME:
We start at 10:00am. I will guide everyone through a warmup and then we will start the hike. Please aim to arrive by 9:45am so we can start promptly at 10am. Give yourself 3 to 3.5 hours to get there.

$25 any time before 6:00pm FRIDAY
$30 after 6:00pm FRIDAY
