On Sunday, May 25, two exceptional artists will kick off the new Green Notes concert series in the beautiful garden of Museum Rijswijk:
saxophonist Kika Sprangers and guitarist Teis Semey. Both are regarded as leading figures of the new generation of Dutch jazz musicians and are an absolute must-see for lovers of pure, contemporary jazz.

Her music, inspired by greats like Anton Corbijn and Arvo Pärt, is characterized by a delicate balance of vulnerability and strength. She recently released her new album Infinity, once again receiving widespread acclaim.
Danish guitarist Teis Semey, known for the groundbreaking Brainteaser Orchestra, was artist-in-residence at North Sea Round Town in 2022 and amazed audiences at major festivals last year. His latest album Mean Mean Machine cements his reputation as an adventurous guitarist with a completely distinctive sound.
