Peek-through Ceramic Pumpkins

This 2-part class, led by instructor John Delafield, will have students develop a hand-building project that results in a ceramic pumpkin/s with viewing cutouts. This project can be displayed by itself but is intended to have a candle or tea light inside. This class will meet Tuesday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 14 from 3-5pm (both dates). The first session will focus on designing and building the pumpkin/s and the second session will allow students to glaze their fired work.

Students need not bring any materials, unless there are specific designs and imagery preferred. Pumpkin designers will meet in the Clay Eichler Ceramics Studio in TRAHC's ArtSpace (518 Pine Street, Texarkana, TX).
