Box McGinn at The Anchor & Festival Opening Event

Join Tewkesbury Town Mayor and the Tewkesbury Live Team at the Official Opening of Tewkesbury Live 2025. Ribbon cutting followed by Box McGinn's fabulous set.

Having recently formed, but having a century of collective experience, Box McGinn are keen to stay out there entertaining and bring new takes on a variety of songs and genres.
Andy plays accordion and keeps the beat going with bass, lead and organ.
Alex gives a multitude of rhythm, dynamics and drive through the cajon and a plethora of percussion instruments.
Jack sings with his well respected big voice and plays acoustic guitar.
Their approach is to bring songs they love with a new slant, stripping songs down to their base and building up in their distinctive style. Be prepared to hear songs you know and love as well as a few of their quirky favourites and a handful of their own.
