Le 11 novembre 1975, la République d’Angola accédait à son indépendance. À l’occasion du cinquantenaire de ce pays d’Afrique centrale et australe et à l’initiative de Nicole Kanda, un événement exceptionnel de deux jours autour de l’histoire et la culture angolaise vous est proposé en collaboration avec l’AfricaMuseum. Au programme : film, conférence, musique et danses.
Durant tout le week-end, vous aurez l’occasion de visiter la présentation d’œuvres d’art angolais dont celles de l’artiste international Cristiano Mangovo.

Op 11 november 1975 werd de Republiek Angola onafhankelijk. Ter gelegenheid van de vijftigste verjaardag van dit Centraal- en Zuidwest-Afrikaanse land en op initiatief van Nicole Kanda wordt in samenwerking met het AfricaMuseum een uitzonderlijk tweedaags evenement aangeboden rond de geschiedenis en cultuur van Angola. Op het programma staan film, lezingen, muziek en dans.
Gedurende het hele weekend kunt u een voorstelling van Angolese kunstwerken bezoeken, waaronder werken van de internationale kunstenaar Cristiano Mangovo.

On 11 November 1975, the Republic of Angola gained its independence. To mark the 50th anniversary of this central and southern African country, Nicole Kanda has organized a special two-day event focusing on Angolan history and culture, in collaboration with the AfricaMuseum. The program includes films, conferences, music and dance.
During the weekend, you will have the opportunity to visit a presentation of Angolan art, including works by the international artist Cristiano Mangovo.
