Full of passion, lyricism, and technical bravura, this concerto became Tchaikovsky’s first work to achieve widespread acclaim this side of the Atlantic. This inspirational program also features Rachmaninov’s Second Symphony, a masterwork recognized for its gorgeous melodies and triumphant conclusion.
