Join us for an afternoon of waterfowl education, dog demonstrations, and clay shooting fun — all in a relaxed, backyard-style setting!
💡 What’s Happening:
Waterfowl Education with MI Member Whitney Johnson & her husband Connor – learn about Michigan’s common target species, gear, field expectations, and more.
Dog Demonstration – watch a trained bird dog work and learn about breeds, training tips, and techniques.
Clay Shooting – take turns busting clays and sharpening your shooting skills.
🎯 What to Bring:
20ga or 12ga shotgun
Target loads for your gauge (bring as much or as little as you want to shoot)
Lawn chair, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks
If you don’t have your own firearm, let us know at registration for community firearm & ammo planning.
💲 Cost: $10/person (covers clay pigeons)
🚫 Alcohol policy: No alcoholic beverages until all shooting has ended and firearms are secured in vehicles.
