Join us for our 3rd Thursday Sacred Hapé Ceremony, a heart-centered evening of Amazonian medicine, intention, and vibrational healing through sound. 

🌬️ What is Hapé?

Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred shamanic snuff made from finely powdered Amazonian tobacco (mapacho) blended with medicinal plants, resins, ashes, and seeds. Used for centuries by Indigenous tribes of the Amazon—such as the Yawanawá, Huni Kuin, and Katukina—this medicine is offered in prayer to clear heavy energy, activate the energy centers, bring alignment, and deepen our connection to Spirit and the Earth.

This is not recreational. It is sacred. Hapé is traditionally administered with deep reverence, often at the start of ceremony, to bring the body and soul into stillness and to prepare for healing, vision, and prayer.

• Opening of sacred space in honor of the medicine and its lineages
• Personal Hapé application in sacred service
• Sound medicine through voice, drum, rattle, and other healing instruments
• Breath and stillness for deepening the experience
• Gentle integration and closing of the container

• Arrive early and enter in quiet presence
• Fast or eat lightly 1–2 hours beforehand
• Bring water, a journal, and any sacred item for the altar
• Avoid caffeine, cannabis, alcohol, and other substances the day of

The medicine continues to work after ceremony. You may feel more sensitive, open, or introspective. Honor this by:

• Drinking plenty of water
• Taking time in stillness or nature
• Journaling what arises
• Giving yourself spaciousness to integrate
