🎣 Fly Flingin’ Fools: North River Trout Tussle 🎣

Event Details:
Join us for a day of questionably skilled, overly enthusiastic fly fishing for wild trout on the scenic North River. We’ll kick things off with a tactical planning session (a.k.a. coffee and biscuit inhaling) at the Tellico Plains Hardee’s — the unofficial headquarters of bad trout puns and caffeine-fueled optimism.
After enough grease to waterproof our waders, we’ll swing by Tellico Outfitters to load up on essentials — tippet, flies, sunscreen, and at least one overpriced item we’ll regret later. Experts will debate fly choice, beginners will nod like they understand, and someone will inevitably buy a $15 sticker to feel legit.
Then it’s off to the river, where we’ll test our casting skills, wading balance, and how many curse words you can string together when a trout refuses your dry fly for the 8th time. Expect majestic mountain views, cold water, wild trout, and one guy who insists the fish are "definitely rising over there" (they aren’t).
What to Bring:
Valid Tennessee fishing license with trout stamp required.
Wading boots or shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
Fly rod (no, a broomstick won’t work)
Flies (dry, wet, emotional — all types welcome)
Snacks (for you and maybe a suspiciously friendly raccoon)
Trout-sized ego and a good sense of humor

Cell service (LOL, good luck)
Serious expectations
